Each sport's flagship impact metric is called CORE, and each one earns the name independently. Gridiron's CORE is a Contextual On-Field Rating Estimate. Hardball's is a Contextual Outcome and Role Estimate. Court Signal's CORE is a lineup-adjusted impact estimate fit from play-by-play possessions. A 90 in one sport is not a 90 in another, and no page here will ever pretend otherwise.
